We are thrilled to announce that our cutting-edge X-Ray simulator is officially released! A major step forward in simulation training for the healthcare sector, this tool is designed to provide an immersive, safe, and effective learning environment for radiography students.
We’re particularly excited that UCL Erhvervsakademi og Professionshøjskole Radiography Education has started incorporating our simulator into their curriculum. This marks a significant milestone in our mission to enhance educational experiences and outcomes in healthcare training.
Today, we had the privilege of speaking with two students from UCL, who shared their firsthand experiences with the simulator:
Tobias Vatna remarked, “We’re in our second semester and haven’t yet had the chance to take ‘real’ X-ray images. Students in the third semester were just thrown into it, but we’ll have had the opportunity to practice in VR first. I believe this makes us better prepared than if we hadn’t had the chance to train in VR.”
Naja Sørensen added, “It’s great not having to worry about radiation. Here, I can take as many pictures as I want, make mistakes, and correct them without the fear of radiation exposure.”
Their feedback highlights the simulator’s benefits, not just in providing practical experience before handling real-life scenarios, but also in offering a risk-free environment to learn and perfect skills.
At VitaSim, we’re dedicated to pushing the boundaries of educational technology, ensuring that the next generation of healthcare professionals is equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. Our X-Ray simulator is just one example of how we’re transforming training and education in the healthcare sector.
Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you UCL Radiography Education and students like Tobias and Naja for embracing this new technology🙏🩻🚀
